Larnaca mixes permanent homes with holiday properties, and both bring us outdoor work: pool surrounds, terraces, cladding and planters that can be left to look after themselves.
Salt air is the factor people underestimate near the Larnaca coast. It is hard on metal fixings and on painted finishes, and it is one reason natural stone earns its place: a stone bench, planter or balustrade has nothing on it to rust, rot or flake, so it needs no annual attention beyond an occasional wash.
For rental and holiday properties, the deciding question is usually maintenance rather than looks. Owners who are not on the island for months at a time want a terrace that survives being ignored. Stone paving, stone coping and stone planters do exactly that, which is why they come up so often in this district compared with timber decking or rendered finishes.
We also do a steady amount of cladding on the villages inland from the city, where newer block-built houses are being given the depth and texture of traditional stone construction on their elevations and boundary walls.
Getting it to you
We deliver and install throughout the Larnaca district. For pool projects we prefer to see the site before quoting, since falls and drainage set as much of the price as the stone does.
